Everything is ground on the same line, so a mixed order does not mean a mixed standard.
Where tools actually fail
Geometry is the whole product
A tool that cuts well on the first part and chatters on the two-thousandth is a geometry problem, not a coating problem. We grind the flute form to the material you are cutting, then coat it — in that order, on the same site.

We have been grinding carbide in Zhenhai since 2004. The shop runs 46 grinding machines, most of them five-axis, and the coating line is in the same building — which is why a change of coating does not add two weeks to a lead time.
Most of our work is repeat orders for job shops and tier-two suppliers in Germany, Italy and the United States: a drawing arrives, we send a first-article report, and the batch follows. If a tool has to be re-ground twice a year, we would rather change the geometry once.
